Description
Item Overview: A highly eye-catching Sheffield silver-plated epergne centrepiece. This magnificent dining feature includes seven cut crystal glass bowls, consisting of a grand central dish surrounded by six smaller branching bowls, all of which are safely removable. The arms can also be detached to allow for a more minimal configuration or alternative presentation. The frame boasts an intricately detailed design displaying heavily encrusted grapes, vines, leaves, and flowers across all sections. The lower support features a charming cherub figure positioned by a bucket gathering grapes. Historically placed at the centre of formal dining tables to serve side dishes, sweetmeats, fruits, or nuts, this grand epergne adds a profound sense of period elegance, character, and style to any luxury dining setting.
